The opening is 21" but you can take 1/2" off of both sides to get 22"

Is the exact opening between the frame 21in's? Most builtin microwave drawers need 22in. I would like to use this for a microwave drawer. The 30in MB seems to have the same issue where 28in opening is needed and it says 27?
